Discovering the perfect balance between relaxation and therapeutic care can be challenging, but your massage experience should be as unique as you are.
If you’re looking for a customized session tailored to your specific needs and preferences—or if you need guidance on the differences between Integrative Therapeutic Relaxation and Specialized Deep Tissue—look no further. I’m here to help you discover the approach that best supports your body, your goals, and your overall well-being.

There is a vast spectrum of bodywork modalities spanning Eastern and Western traditions, but my practice is grounded in a unique philosophy that blends both worlds. Growing up in a home influenced by Eastern healing traditions, I was taught that healing was in my blood. My great-grandmother was a Buddhist shaman, an elder entrusted with the holistic care of her village. When I became a bodyworker years ago, my mother reminded me of this lineage—a deep-rooted connection to the healing arts.
I graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2003, a school known for its rigorous anatomy and physiology programs, cadaver lab, and comprehensive approach to bodywork. My formal training includes Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, Deep Tissue, and Swedish Relaxation. Over the years, I have continued to grow my practice by receiving and exchanging work with therapists trained in Lomi Lomi, Shiatsu, Thai Bodywork, and Structural Integration. I integrate techniques that I am both confident and comfortable using to provide the best care for my clients.
Movement has always been an integral part of my life—whether through dance, sports, martial arts, weightlifting, yoga, or Pilates. I believe the body is meant to move dynamically, and when we stop exploring its full potential, we limit ourselves. A lack of movement often leads to stagnation, both physically and mentally.
Today, being a healer within my community deeply resonates with my purpose. I strive to connect with my clients on a holistic level, addressing their mind, body, and spirit. When I speak of the mind, I consider the mental and emotional burdens my clients carry, their physical concerns, and an understanding of their inner purpose. To me, seeing someone’s inner purpose means seeing them as their highest self—one committed to growth, balance, and harmony.
Understanding My Approach to Bodywork
Integrative Therapeutic Relaxation is designed for clients who want to unwind, relieve stress, and work on specific areas of tension without requiring deep, intense pressure. This approach incorporates focused work—just as effective as deep tissue but without overwhelming intensity—by using techniques like Trigger Point Therapy to identify and release adhesions. Paired with breathwork and fascial release, this method helps open and soften connective tissues for deep, lasting relief.
Specialized Deep Tissue is ideal for those who not only prefer deep pressure but also struggle to find a therapist who can deliver the precision and depth needed to address chronic pain. This slow, steady, and intentional work includes stretching techniques, traction, and deep full-body compressions to help open and realign the body.
If you’re unsure which session is right for you, I always recommend starting with Integrative Therapeutic Relaxation—especially if you're new to bodywork. However, if you know you need deep, targeted pressure to address chronic issues, Specialized Deep Tissue is the best fit. Whatever your needs, my goal is to create an experience that supports your body’s unique healing journey.
